Money Advice Scotland are offering the following Financial Wellbeing sessions, which may be of benefit to your staff and/or service users.  

Since the pandemic began in March 2020, Money Advice Scotland’s Financial Capability team have shifted all resources and learning online, available for all to access. Listed below are the sessions that are available, along with links to further information and where to book a place: 

Train the Trainer, Digital Delivery for Financial Wellbeing – This session is aimed at professionals working with individuals or groups who are looking at building long-term financial resilience, with an added focus on how this can be achieved using digital platforms. The session lasts 3hrs and is conducted via Zoom.

*Please note that this session will not discuss debt strategies or benefit advice.  

Money Goals - For sessions aimed at service users, we run digital Money Goals sessions, which can be conducted via Zoom or Teams. Our Money Goals sessions can be bespoke in that you can book a stand-alone session, or you could opt to build a programme of sessions to best suit the needs of your service users. Each session lasts approx. 1hr and we can cover the following topics: 


  • Savings;  
  • Budgeting & Financial planning
  • Financial Independence;
  • Credit & Credit Scores – how this affects you;  
  • Living Independently;  


  • Understanding Payslips & Tax 
  • Bank accounts & online banking; 
  • Purchasing & maintaining a car; 
  • Scams; 
  • Mortgages, Buying & Selling Houses.

Webinars - We are running monthly webinars, which are open to all. A selected topic from the list above will be covered each month and this will be advertised on our website.
