yipworld, based in Cumnock is an award winning social enterprise/charity providing a wide range of informal and formal activities primarily for children and young people.
Our provision includes quality youth work drop-in activities in our base on Barrhill Road, Cumnock and as outreach in outlying rural communities e.g. New Cumnock; Auchinleck; Muirkirk; Mauchline/Catrine and detached street work to engage with young people who choose not to participate in organised youth work activities.
We provide bespoke packages of employability support to unemployed people aged 16 years plus with two successful programmes
Grafters - for 15 years plus to help them understand the world of work; participate in local business work experience and gain an accredited quality in employability
Lifeskills - as above with focus on transition to independent living with cooking; budgeting and responsibility for tenancy
