ESF – The First Steps Projects
The
first steps programme offers a one to one service for those with disabilities
looking to get into employment. It
focuses on barrier removal for those furthest from the jobs market including
tackling social isolation, confidence building and initial work on
employability.
The
service is normally a precursor to Stage 2 provision for EF programmes.

Employability
Fund Stage 2 and 3
Employability Fund is open to anyone who is age 16+ not in
employment, education or training. Enable specialises in the support of those
with additional support needs and disabilities. It is a 10-week online training
course focussing on confidence building, communication skills, community
project and employability skills all whilst working towards Personal
Development Awards Level 3 & 4.
Employability Fund can be used as a precursor for college, a job
or further training. You can progress from Stage 2 to Stage 3 with Enable.
On Employability Fund you will:

Job/college applications

Mock interviews
·
Training allowance of 55 pounds per week (T’s &C’s
apply)
New groups will be starting in January 2021. Limited spaces
