George contacted East Ayrshire Works requesting funding
support to gain the 360 Excavator qualification so he could take up employment
with a local employer.
His Work Coach Sheila, identified that George required
a Touchscreen Test prior to training and supported him to activate the
Individual Training Account (ITA) Online with one of their Partners called CEiS
in Irvine. George passed his training
first time which allowed him to go forward with the 360 Excavator
training.
East Ayrshire Works funded the full cost for the 360
Excavator qualification and his Work Coach Sheila arrange this through Holeside
Training in Strathaven. George has now
successfully completed his training and is soon to start work with a local
employer.
George says:

A59A Excavator 360 above 10 tonnes. I'm
now looking forward to starting my new career!”
