Shannon Johnston is the owner of Shair by Shannon in
Auchinleck and a new employer. She
approached East Ayrshire Works enquiring about Wage Subsidy funding to support
a new Trainee seeking to utilise her qualifications in Hairdressing. Over the past 6 months, Trainee Morgan Benn
has been building up her portfolio and is popular with her new clients.
Due to new trends and an increase in request for services,
both Shannon and Morgan wanted to offer existing and new customers new and
bespoke services in the area. Therefore
both Trainee and Employer accessed funding to gain the “HTS Certified Hair
Extensions Specialist CPD Certification” via the 7 Method Hair Extension Course
at Red Hair Salon in Kilmarnock with Marie Kay @HTSRed and Laurie Hume
Training.
