Gordon Jackson - Trained to be a barber

Gordon says:

Having been a professional driver for over 40 years I found myself being made redundant in August 2020.  I thereafter decided to change course and retrain my skill-set to become a Barber which had been an ambition of mine.  With the help of East Ayrshire Works and Work Coach Sheila McFadyean, I enrolled at the Scottish Barber School in Glasgow and successfully completed an SVQ Level 2 in Gents Barbering.  I now work in a busy family run business called “Station Barbers” in Bishopton.  Sheila guided me through the entire process and constantly kept in touch to check I was achieving my goals.  I cannot thank her enough for helping me through this difficult time in the twilight years of my work life.
