Street League are an employability driven charity which uses football as a means of engaging with 16 to 25 year olds who are perhaps out of work or are about to leave school with the end goal of helping them into employment, further education or training. We are a nationwide charity however have only recently started up in East Ayrshire and are currently in the recruitment phase of our academies.
We aim to run three 8 week academies each year which consist of attending a specified venue between 9am and 1pm, Monday to Thursday, for employability based work and football coaching. The purpose of the academies is to engage with the participants in an environment that allows them to improve their employability skills and qualities, whilst allowing them to play and enjoy football.
